About

Since I finished the travel blog, I’ve missed having a writing project. The theory behind this blog: I’m trying to walk more, and it might make the walks more interesting if I know I’m going to write about them afterwards.

There’s a series of Canberra Community Walks I’ve been wanting to try. They’re just suburban strolls. I downloaded PDFs of them a while ago. I’d give you the link but they’ve disappeared from the web. I suspect someone’s selling them now! The walks are going back online soon. Watch this space!

The fact that I came home from my first documented walk (not actually one of the series) to some local news that made me sad for a week has led to the posts tagged “O tempora”. And the fact that hot weather makes me whinge has led to the posts tagged “Querulous”.

Dramatis personae: me, Dac, our cats Mayhem and Mischief, friends and family.
